New 7-story, 277-unit apartment building in Canoga Park, sitting above one-level Type I-A subterranean concrete parking structure, two stories of Type I-A concrete podium slabs, below five stories of Type III-A framed apartment units above. Meier Construction, Inc's scope of work was for Structural Concrete.
The project consisted of a 62,630 SF basement garage footprint, with nearly 250,000 GSF of concrete slabs. The basement was a 2.5' thick MAT Slab, with 3 conventionally reinforced suspended concrete decks ranging from 9-18" in thickness. Our scope's construction began January 2018, with Podium Poured in July and August 2018.
The General Contractor on this project is McCormick Evolution, LLC.
